  • Polls

**this may be repeated for some of you**

IN my state, the primaries are on 2/5 and I however will not be home.  Called about an absentee ballot and it turns out since a board of elections is 12 miles from my residence I could go in person to cast my early lot.

I had no idea there was such a thing as judge training going on though so the building was packed.

I voted and Dr. Ron Paul's name was the very first one on the R ballot -- too cool

They also let DS vote.  He chose:

    Spiderman for president
thomas the train for vice president
pokemon for executive ((why he didn't choose spongebob I can only figure is because I don't allow pokemon in our home so he probably picked it because it's not a choice at home))

cookies as his fave snack and dog as his fave animal ((again not sure why he has 2 cats))  maybe because that's the expected boy response??

Then we went to a health food store, came home did phonics and ate lunch, then went to homeschool indoor swim, then to ups store to pickup the postcards I had printed for the hsreviews exchange, now I'm cooking steak and veggies for dinner.

    We still need to:

    straighten my hair
    clean out the critter box
    feed the critters
clean up the kitchen and do a load of laundry
I have 4 read alouds for DS ((Bible, Poem, MasterMaid Tale, and a short history read))
I'd also like to listen to some Handel
DS wants to buy transformers tennis shoes I can finally use that $10 gift card I won at The Educational LIfe weblog
and Hebrew Insights from the Gospels class is at 6:30-8 tonight

ok 2 hours count down starts NOW

  • Thanks for prompting me about the Pharisee book. It has been a while and I thought everyone forgot. I did. Between the septic drama and travel for work and this cold I got this week I've succeeding in forgetting lots of stuff. That book included. Anyway, Thanks. I plan to revive the review thanks to you.
