  • Did Moses receive the Torah from YHWH?

    He sure did.

    here's what came to me.

    How else would Moses know how the world really began and what led up to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob unless YHWH told him.

    After all Moses was raised like he was pharoah's grandson...sure Moses' mom nursed him, but for how long? til he was old enough to be told his heritage and history? Even if he did nurse until he was 3 or 4 years old...how much would he really remember? Especially once he went to stay at the palace and was raised and taught their way of life....

    I'm sure at some point as he grew someone said "you're not really pharoah's grandson and the lady you call mom is not really your mom, you're one of those slaves kinsman"

    And then we know Moses went and saw how his people were being treated and after the incident he fled to Midian.

    Unless the Midians could tell Moses from start to finish about his people...that only leaves us with YHWH telling him.

    So when Moses went back to tell the people all that YHWH had said, YHWH knew the people would be like, "you are telling us about our God....you who were raised in the lap of luxury...what could you possibly know"...so Moses was able to tell the tale to them from beginning up to that point (and maybe even beyond) all that YHWH told him about his own people.

    ok just wanted to share

  • Total lunar eclipse early Tuesday

    By COLLEEN SLEVIN, Associated Press Writer Sun Aug 26, 7:46 PM ET

    DENVER - The Earth's shadow will creep across the moon's surface early Tuesday, slowly eclipsing it and turning it to shades of orange and red.

    The total lunar eclipse, the second this year, will be visible in North and South America, especially in the West. People in the Pacific islands, eastern Asia, Australia and New Zealand also will be able to view it if skies are clear.

    People in Europe, Africa or the Middle East, who had the best view of the last total lunar eclipse in March, won't see this one because the moon will have set when the partial eclipse begins at 4:51 a.m. EDT. The full eclipse will begin an hour later at 5:52 a.m. EDT.

    An eclipse occurs when Earth passes between the sun and the moon, blocking the sun's light. It's rare because the moon is usually either above or below the plane of Earth's orbit.

    Since the Earth is bigger than the moon, the process of the Earth's shadow taking a bigger and bigger "bite" out of the moon, totally eclipsing it before the shadow recedes, lasts about 3 1/2 hours, said Doug Duncan, director of the University of Colorado's Fiske Planetarium. The total eclipse phase, in which the moon has an orange or reddish glow, lasts about 1 1/2 hours.

    The full eclipse will be visible across the United States, but East Coast viewers will only have about a half-hour to see it before the sun begins to rise and the moon sets. Skywatchers in the West will get the full show.

    In eastern Asia, the moon will rise in various stages of eclipse.

    During the full eclipse, the moon won't be completely dark because some light still reaches it around the edges of the Earth. The light is refracted as it passes through our atmosphere, scattering blue light — which is why the sky is blue — but sending reddish light onto the moon.

    "When someone asks why is it (the moon) red, you can say because the sky is blue," Duncan said.

    The next total lunar eclipse occurs Feb. 21, 2008, and will be visible from the Americas, Europe and Asia.

  • Animal Senses

    So my two cats, who normally can't be near each other without the older one hissing and growling at the younger one...are sitting practically side by side staring out the patio doors.  The younger one had been clawing at the glass.

    Don't they say animals can sense things we can not?  Don't animals try to get out and act crazy when something is about to happen?

    Although I think a dog would also warn their owner, whereas these cats must only be thinking about themselves.

    Psalm 27

    1The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

     2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

     3Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

     4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

     5For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

     6And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

     7Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

     8When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

     9Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

     10When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

     11Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

     12Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

     13I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

     14Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

  • I Chronicles in 2007

    07/26/2007  I Chronicles chapters 1-5

    David was the 7th son of Jesse and now was Shimea David's 7th son or was Solomon? or was it that poor baby that died?  hmmmm head scratcher...

    Oh and does anyone know where there is a family tree graph of I Chronicles and other lineages described in the Bible?   please leave a link and thanks.

    2:30 - And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
    2:32 - And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.
    {so it's not a bad thing to not be a dad}

    4:9-10  {Where did I speak against this before?   that we shouldn't copy this prayer word for word like some magic formula but notice his main thing was that he wouldn't cause a burden to anyone regardless of his name's meaning, and that he called on the only ONE who could truly help.   So I googled my xanga site and here is where I wrote against this}

    4:27 - And Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters: but his brethren had not many children, neither did all their family multiply, like to the children of Judah.  {case in point, my cousins have kids like rabbits, and DH and I just the one....}

    5:1-2 - Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but forasmuch as he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright. For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's:)

    {I found this good to know since many will think/wonder why if Reuben was the eldest why his line is not the one to be blessed to have Messiah come through...I love the way the Word explains things}

    5:6 - Beerah his son, whom Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria carried away captive: he was prince of the Reubenites.

    II Kings 15:29 - In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abelbethmaachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria.

    {did anyone else notice tilgath and tiglath....no wonder a search for tilgath only came up with Chronicles...it is spelt different in II Kings...}

    5:20 - And they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated of them; because they put their trust in him.

    7/27/2007 Chapters 6-9

    6:1-3 - The sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. And the sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel. And the children of Amram; Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.  {4 generations to Moses....wasn't it 400 years of slavery before Moses led them out?  hmmm..so then a generation was a 100 years?}

    6:8 - And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz, {Zadok was the priest during David's reign}

    6:73 - And Ramoth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs:   {caught my eye Anem, Amen...wanted to know meanings of these words...I always thought Amen meant may it be so...I found this for Amen - the word “Amen” is a solemn affirmation of truth, a special word that we can use whenever we have said (or heard) something that is true before God.- ....And I found this for Anem - or Anen an answer; their affliction -  HTH}

    7:3 - And the sons of Uzzi; Izrahiah: and the sons of Izrahiah; Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Ishiah, five: all of them chief men.

    7:27 - Non his son, Jehoshuah his son.  {found this interesting because these are Nun which means posterity; a fish; eternal  and Joshua which means a savior; a deliverer ....}

    8:1-2 - Now Benjamin begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third, Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth{found Nohah an interesting way to spell Noah}

    8:12 - The sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof:   {Shamed?  as in to have been put to shame?  what a name, eh? poor thing}

    8:33 - And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal. {the Benjamin tribe...so Saul was destined to eventually not be king, the line of Judah would need to be ruler}

    9:22 - All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by their genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their set office.  {the Dake's KJV I recently got for Mother's Day from my sister, well with the GC she gave me from CBD that is, has this as a footnote on this verse: Here we have proof that Samuel and David counseled together and received revelations of the coming temple and worship.  Such things were thus planned during the lifetime of Saul when David was driven from Saul's court as a fugitive and an outlaw.  }

    7/28/2007  Chapters 10-13

    Oh as I was reading today a thought hit me - What about those who died really believing xmess and ishtar were actually remembrance days?  Were they forgiven of their ignorance?  (or is it called rebellion when just blindly and gullibly believe what others say those days are for?)  I know what a heavy thought...has anyone else handled this?

    10:10 - And they put his armour in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon.  {my Dake's says this: In I samuel 31:10 it says they put his armor in the house of ashtaroth.  this was the female counterpart of baal.  her temple was in ashkelon where she was worshipped under the name atargatis, as a woman with the tail of a fish. accordingly, fish were sacred to her; elsewhere the dove was her sacred symbol.}  {ok so anyone else not diggin mermaids right about now? oh and can anyone tell me more about the dove thing?  I thought the Dove symbolized the Holy Spirit....yes I've been "brain washed" by the furch....so is that a right brain washing or a wrong one?  someone please clear that up and thanks}

    11:22 - Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done many acts; he slew two lionlike men of Moab: also he went down and slew a lion in a pit in a snowy day.  {initially the snowy day thing caught my eye so I read the footnote: ...ariel means lion of God...}  {so again on that mermaid thing..isn't the famous cartoon red headed mermaid's name ariel?  ok so what is disney thinking sometimes?  ya know}

    11:38 - Joel the brother of Nathan, Mibhar the son of Haggeri,  {Nathan means - given; giving; rewarded  AND Nathanael means the gift of God son and as you can see should we have another boy, his name will be Nathan...how fitting would that be...to have my womb closed so long and then when it does open to be given a gift and a reward, literally!}

    13:10 - And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.  {Dake said: In Numbers 4:15-20 Levites were forbidden to touch the ark on threat of death.  This was the first instance of execution of that law, perhaps being the first time it was broken. (II Samuel 6:7).  In the case of the philistines handling the ark they were not killed because of their ignorance of the law (I Samuel 6-7) } {also, so hmmm....now my pondering before reading is kinda coming clear here, you see we know what the 4th commandment says and so this being known we know it is wrong to change from Shabbat to the first day of the week...that is what they did to disassociate with the Jews and also to open the furches up for the sungod worshippers to attend...ah ha so we also know that xmess and ishtar have nothing to do with Yeshua, so guilty as charged.....}

    13:14 - And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had. {dake says: In what way the LORD blessed this house of Obededom is not stated, but it could have been with health and material prosperity.}

    7/29/2007 Chapters 14-17

    15:19 - So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

    15:22 - And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful. {song leader}

    15:29 - And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal, the daughter of Saul looking out at a window saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart. {perhaps you too said, why did she despise him?  so dake says: she did not make David welcome, but rather despised him in her heart.  She thought he had disgraced himself.   Her words were bitter and cutting and she received sharpness in return for being so prudish where God and joy in the LORD are concerned (II Samuel 6:20-23).  She and David were not the same man and wife after this, and part of her punishment was that she was childless to the day of her death}

    16:35 - And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise. {see also Psalm 105}

    17:10 - And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the LORD will build thee an house.

    17:19-20 - O LORD, for thy servant's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.  O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. {dake says: this is ever the acknowledgment of true worshippers of God}

    17:23-27 - Therefore now, LORD, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast said. Let it even be established, that thy name may be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David thy servant be established before thee. For thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found in his heart to pray before thee. And now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant: Now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be before thee for ever: for thou blessest, O LORD, and it shall be blessed for ever. {dake says: when prayers are found in the heart they are the result of gratitude or the overflow of some desperate need (Hebrews 4:14-16 and 10:19-23) }

    7/30/2007 Chapters 18-21

    at about midnight I was watching something that came on ABC Family about learning about Hannah and the Torah....they were going on about how blessed Hannah was to be the mother of the last judge of Israel...that that was how her prayer was answered...and yes her prayer was answered but the LORD blessed her more than just with one child.  I Samuel 2:21 - And the LORD was gracious to Hannah; she conceived and gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the LORD.

    but they did say that apparently women had more "power" then than we think today...because Hannah was at the tabernacle praying and when her hubby went back after Samuel was born, she decided when he would be old enough to leave with Eli.

    18:6 - Then David put garrisons in Syriadamascus; and the Syrians became David's servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.  {history repeats itself is the saying, yes....ok then!!}

    18:14 - So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.

    19:13 - Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the LORD do that which is good in his sight.

    20:3 - And he brought out the people that were in it, and cut them with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.  {chainsaw movies, anyone?  }

    20:6 - And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot and he also was the son of the giant. {almost sounds like a legend or sci-fi, eh?}

    21:3 - And Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord's servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?  {funny, here Joab seems upright but in the previous accounts of what he did, to me he seemed to actually cheat David}

    21:8 - And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech thee, do away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.

    21:13 - And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are HIS mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.

    21:17, 24 - And David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father's house; but not on thy people, that they should be plagued.  24 And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost. {would any in authority over us today be so honest?...thought provoking}

    7/31/2007 Chapters 22-25

    22:5 - And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

    22:8-9 - But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight. Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days. {ok so since David did what he was supposed to and was blessed for it, shedding blood was still wrong...}

    22:12 - Only the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.

    22:16 - Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be with thee.

    22:3 - Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand. {Yeshua started HIS ministry at the age of 30}

    vs. verse 27 - For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered from twenty years old and above:

    22:22 - And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren the sons of Kish took them. {meaning the uncles married the nieces?  or some other explaination?}

    22:30 - And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even:

    24:7-19  -  {gives us the order of when whom would serve at the temple...so we can take this and figure out when John the Baptist's dad was in service in Luke 1:5, and figure out when he was told he would become a dad and so many months after Elizabeth conceived, Mary was pregnant with Yeshua...so we can find out Yeshua was not born on dec. 25th}

    25:5 - All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters. {yeah but probably not by the same mother, eh?}

    8/1/2007 chapters 26-29

    26:1 - Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.  {Kore is a neat way to spell Corey...yes}

    27:30 - Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite: {meronothite like moronothite LOL}

    28:4 - Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for HE hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:

    28:9 - And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. {substitute your child's name for Solomon...good isn't!}

    28:11-12 - {here is the pattern after which the temple should look like...looks like more of a castle than a house of rituals...aka cathedral style church...}

    28:20  and 22:13 - {same charge}

    29:9 - Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

    29:11-15 - {what a great prayer}

    29:29 - Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer {I and II Kings?}, and in the book of Nathan the prophet {which one is this?}, and in the book of Gad the seer{which is this?},

  • Notes about the Shofar Part I

    08/12/2007 in Intro to Jewish Roots class this was the topic

    Leviticus 23:24 - Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

    the guy talking this day blew an actual Shofar for us...if you have heard the intro on graftedin.com Shabbat messages then you know the sound I am refering to.

    The Shofar is not a musical instrument and it is not the same as a trumpet.  He told us there is no such thing as a Feasts of Trumpets and he said he got that info from a book called Horeb - and that it is not written by a Messianic believer so if you decide to read it then you need to do so with a Messianic filter.

    He said that from the time he was 5 years old and up after reading the word trumpet in the Bible he thought it was an important instrument so he learned to play.

    As he got older he wondered why it uses the word trumpet....that it's not necessarily wrong..but what does it really mean.

    Like keep the Sabbath and remember the Sabbath are both used...do they mean the same....etc.

    I. There is a difference between the shofar and the chatzotzarot (silver trumpets)

    A. The shofar:

    #1- it must be from the horn of a kosher animal; but it cannot be the horn of a bull because of the sad incident involving the golden calf

    #2- the first usage of the term shofar is in

    Exodus 19:16 & 19 - 16And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.  19And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

    In response to the "voice of the shofar" the people shuddered {I have no idea which translation he reads from that says shofar in these verses...I searched at biblegateway and couldn't find one online that uses shofar not trumpet...hrmmm}

    this term is used again  in the context of the shofar in I Kings 1:32-53 and will show up later in the outline - {for those of you reading, maybe we'll get to that in next week's class}

    #3-Shofar has a relationship with the word Shafat and that is the word for "to judge"

    #4- Shofar is often mistranslated as trumpet, which in our mind has a different connotation and look. Our concept of trumpet is closer to the term chotzotzarot. {yeah I don't know if he misspelled here I am just typing it as I see it in the handout}

    B. The chatzotzarot (the -ot ending lets us know that this is plural because they were blown as a pair):

    #1- Read Numbers 10:1-10.  the chatzotzarot are made of hammered silver.

    #2- the tekiah (longs blasts) and teruah (short blasts) are listed in the Horeb book pages 136-137  {I wanted to point out that he asked who has a KJV in the room and I was the only one...he asked if those 10 verses mentioned the words long or short...I said no, then he asked for all the other translations in the room and only one, which I didn't catch the name of, had the word short in it.  So he basically said KJV was bogus for not being Hebraic enough, that it was englishized and so have all the other translations been since...uh yeah does anyone have any rebuttal for that?  oh and even the Sterns didn't use short or long in this passage}

    #3- They are used in war, 10:9 teruah is used

    #4- they are used at the festivals, at Rosh Chodeshim (new moons), over elevation offerings, and festival peace offerings {he pointed out that on our calendar we note a new moon as no moonlight but it really should be that first sliver of light...that there were guys who hung out just waiting to signal that they've seen the new moon so a new month begins....so if it was cloudy, they wouldn't see it....and the first of a month is a break for women...their men wait on them that day...so yeah ladies!}

    #5- note: read Horeb pag 140 and the note on page 232

    He said the word Iyyer means to count and that month usually falls in our month of may and at that time we are counting the Omer

    He also pointed out that the first pair of silver trumpets were destroyed but the ones made after should still be around somewhere they were not suppose to leave the temple {but with all the raids they probably were} and according to tradition these chatzotzarot will be sounded when Yeshua returns.... {so RH anyone!!!}

    and that's as far as he got on his handout of three roman numerals.  So stay tuned

  • Intro to Jewish Roots #3

    We are still going over the Feasts of the LORD..which I find fascinating.

    we did the Feasts of Booths  Leviticus 23:34-36

    there's a myrtle branch - it's fragrant but no fruit
    a palm branch - has fruit but not fragrant
    a willow branch - has neither
    citro (etrog) - has both and the fruit is yellow in color

    they would wave these branches to the 4 directions.  this is the Lulav

    HO-SHA-NAH means save us (now)  like when Yeshua entered Jerusalem and the people shouted Hosanna and waved/laid down the branches...even though it was not the fall they realized this was a true time of praise and celebration, one worth of using the branches as they do during the fall feasts...he came in over the Mount of Olives at this time and the people knew what Zechariah says ...even though they didn't have a printed copy of the Word like we do, they knew it...they knew this was important, here their Messiah is fulfilling a sign they had been watching and waiting for.

    another sign was when HE raised Lazarus.  They believed when a person died the spirit hung around for 3 days, so it's easy to bring them back during this time frame....but as you know Lazarus had been dead for 4 days...so this was a true proof the Yeshua was the one.

    We read Zechariah 14:12 - And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

    The instructor said we can understand more of what this is talking about today, people being vaporized right where they stand....sounds nuclear/atomic...but then again....remember in the OT the people would die if they saw YHWH and yet were unclean?  Well so when Yeshua comes back, all the unclean will vaporize on the spot maybe.... or so I had that thought on the night of 8.8.07...but then again there is to be so many bodies the birds that eat meat have a feast...so.....

    oh and I wanted to point out on the study guide we have that shows 8 points for each feast....under Rosh Hashana for Messianic point it says:  the day of resurrection and catching away of the holy ones

    too cool....

    and under Sukkot - Messianic point says : birth of Yeshua.

    so again...I will be displaying my nativity set during the Fall Feasts

  • As heard on the savage nation about 7pmCST last night

    2/3 of the American population believe in Creationism.   That's good....the problem is they don't think they can believe in G-d, Creation, and science.

    He said some Rabbi said that our problem is we don't understand the concept of time the way G-d sees it.  That maybe a day is like a million years.

    I had to change the radio dial at this point.

    {ok so what Rabbi said this?  does anyone know?  and why would they say that?  What about this verse that immediately popped in my head upon hearing what this Rabbi said:

    II Peter 3:8 - But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. }
