  • Spring Feast Part II

    http://69.13.223.242/ASFROOT2/encoded/rood/rood8/rood8-300k.wmv

    Just watched it..... GOOD

    Yeshua's blood was not spilled just on the ground....imperfect blood was just spilled on the ground...HIS perfect blood and water was poured out and flowed right to where the Ark of the Covenant was.

    Always wondered about the others that arose when Yeshua did...HE lifted them up so they must have ascended to heaven.

    there was a section on signs in the heavens during the last 30 minutes or so...interesting.

    Oh and I watched One Night with the King yesterday and it was a good movie.  I still like the account in Esther better...and towards the end if you watch it, notice at one point when we go from haman to her and back again, she has the necklace on and another time she doesn't, then she has it again...silly "proofreaders"  LOL

    reminds me of the cartoon Beauty and the Beast - when they are eating breakfast and he gets the cereal all over himself...one screen shot he has a messy face, then he doesn't and then he does again...LOL

    ok now to go back and finish my Leviticus post - the last 7 chapters

  • Leviticus 2007

    3:17 - It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

    4:32 - And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

    5:1 - And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.  (MH Comment: A man's concealing the truth, when he was sworn as a witness to speak the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. If, in such a case, for fear of offending one that has been his friend, or may be his enemy, a man refuses to give evidence, or gives it but in part, he shall bear his iniquity. And that is a heavy burden, which, if some course be not taken to get it removed, will sink a man to hell. Let all that are called at any time to be witnesses, think of this law, and be free and open in their evidence, and take heed of prevaricating. An oath of the Lord is a sacred thing, not to be trifled with.)

    5:15&17   - 15 If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.   17And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. ((even ignorant sins required a sacrifice...so the excuse that one didn't know better won't fly))

    8:17 - But the bullock, and his hide, his flesh, and his dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses. ((flesh is yucky))

    9:15 - And he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.  ((goat?))

    10:16-20 - MH Comment

    11:20 - All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you. ((flying squirrel?))

    11:30 - And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.  ((none of those french prepared snails...not that I would anyway...shudder))

    11:45 - For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

    13:13-14  -  ((so when unclean maybe contagious until it was gone or all over than no longer contagious...possibly...remember reading some of these were given for sanitation/health reasons...also found it interesting that the priest- not the doctor- declared clean or unclean))

    13:40-41 - (( I had read the post on head coverings this day and saw this...just so the guys know full baldness and/or partial is ok))

    14:8-9 - ((shaved all hair -- all over the body))

    14:15-18   & 26-29 - (( this reminded me of James 5:14 - the OT is repeated in the NT!))

    14:37 - And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall; ((mold?   asbestos?))

    chapter 15 - MH Comment

    16:29-34 - ((which Holy Day is this referring to?))  Tishri 10 - Atonement day -Yom Kipur - as told to me via Leviticus 23:27-29 and the spring feast part II video online...see 5.5.07 post.

    18:9-11 - (( the whole chapter talks about all the people/animals you shouldn't have relations with....I was thinking since it mentions not having relations with your sister - it is a good thing Abraham and Sarah came before this was given...))

    19:5-8 - ((I saw an end times parallel....the third day reference...?))

    19:26 - Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

    20:7 - Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. ((Wahoo!!))

    22:7 - And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food.

    22:30 - On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD. (( the morrow would start at sundown))

    23:32b - from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath. ((so days are marked from even unto even...what not midnight to 11:59pm...snicker))

    26:1-13 -  What to do to be blessed

    26:14-39 - punishment for disobedience

    26:40-46 - how to be redeemed, if you have gone astray

    27:28 - Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD. ((reminded me of how Hannah devoted Samuel unto the Lord))

    27:29 - None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death. ((??))  MH Comment

    27:32 - And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD. ((for more on tithing see http://www.tithing.christian-things.com/illegal.html))

  • MoVip...aka public virtual school

    They plan to start open enrollment in May for next year.

    Something about paying into a lottery and one student wins to get theirs paid for that year...so does that mean parents of children who don't win have to pay for the public virtual school?  and if so does that mean we can pay less in property/state tax since I don't have a child using this public virtual school, I don't see why I have to pay for someone else's childs education...

    and if you do public virtual school part of the day and the other part go to as they put it the "brick and mortar" school, then you get to participate in "extracurricular" activites ...woo dog.
    ROLLS EYES!!!

    Well DS was invited to a birthday party today.  So of we go so he can eat pizza and play lazer tag.

  • Deja Vu - the movie

    I just watched this....from the beginning I was guessing things...and coming up right every time.  Even word for word what the characters said.

    If you haven't seen it, I won't spoil it for you...but it was good...the beginning is too gruesome for a child to see...you've been warned.

    oh and we had to do a group presentation in business communications class this morning....I was up til midnight working on my part because I finally yesterday got the final piece of others work that I needed to do my part....and if I hadn't emailed the guy making our powerpoint presentation yesterday morning to ask if I could see it, he informed me today he forgot all about it until he saw that email....  while I was rehearsing last night, my son decided he too had to rehearse his presentation and so we took turns practicing on each other...LOL

    I was a nervous wreck, couldn't sleep/eat etc...in fact after class was finally over, my stomach acted like it was starving....while we were speaking I am not sure what the instructor thought because he had a  "poker" face....he said he'll give grades out next Thursday....I up front apologized to my group in case we get a bad grade and it's my fault...we only had 10 minutes minimum and 15 minutes maximum and thankfully the people who spoke before me took well over 10 minutes so I was able to read/say my part fast...but my heart was beating so loud in my ears and dry mouth and wavering voice...I didn't even notice the courtesy classmate clap when we were done...LOL

    ok gotta get back to my son.

  • Homeschooled Teen Reunited with Family- Germany

    Many of you have been following the story of Melissa Busekros, who was taken from her home by police on February 1, 2007, just because her family homeschooled her.

    On this past Monday, her 16th birthday, Melissa determined that she would decide for herself where she would live.

    In the early morning hours of Monday, April 23, Melissa left her foster family and made her way back to her own family! Of course, her family was delighted to see her, and they made plans to celebrate her 16th birthday. And we rejoice with the Busekros family now that their family has been reunited.

    However, threats remain and your prayers are still needed. Because Melissa left on her own it is possible that the Youth Welfare authorities may decide to forcibly remove her again. At age 16 more rights and privileges are recognized but it is not certain what the state’s response will be.

  • Seriously?

    SO tonight as I was walking up the gigantic hill to get to the building my Monday night class is in, these people approached me about attending their seminar on hpv....no, thanks I replied that I am a married woman.    They countered I could still get hpv...I said sex outside of marriage is wrong....and they started laughing as I walked away.  - Seriously is this like high school or something

    I am sure the seminar would have tried to tell me all the reasons I need the "one less" vaccine....well news for ya honies I am a couple of years past the age of being eligible for the vaccine...neither would I want to put up with the side effects and the fact that they are trying to mass vaccinate everyone age 9-26  with a new drug SCARES me....this vaccine hasn't been around long enough to know the long term ramifications....again SCARY.

    Also when I was going to pick up DS from dad's...I saw a lady letting her big dog take a poo in the apartment complex yard that my dad lives at.  I was perturbed and I know when I get a house and should I see someone letting their dog poo in my yard....I will march up to them and hand them a baggie and say do it or do not let your dog visit my yard.   I don't want my son or me stepping in it while out enjoying the yard.  Even if it was my dog, I would still take shovel and paperbag and clean up the messes...because dog poo on shoes or worse barefeet is disgusting.   I may even post signs to the effect in my yard.  I know this happens, people take their dogs for walks to get the elimination out but unless it's NYC you don't see people courteous enough to clean up after their beast.

    ok...I think I am done.

    Pray for me, today was hard....announcements all over the place....my heart weeps within me.

    what is shittim wood?  the acacia tree was the google answer

    how many months in Hebrew year?  I found this out last night watching that video that is linked in my previous post.  it varies from 12-13...moon cycles and the barley being ready for Abib is what determines how many months.

    find that verse where Abraham says Sarah is his half sister - Genesis 20:12 (same father, different mother....shiver anyone but me?)

    what are "ouches" of gold? dictionary.com says   A setting for a precious stone

    Angels have free will?  always taught no.  ok then, how did they rebel? - why this came to me while reading about bullock blood being put on altar?  sacrifice thing, maybe?  Who knows why my mind works the way it does sometimes....

    Exodus 30:14-15  - 14Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.  15The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls. {( read the article about tithe being illegal)}

    Exodus 30:23-25  - 23Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,  24And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin:  25And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.

    Exodus 30:32-33 - 32Upon man's flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.  33Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.

    Exodus 31:13-17 - Sabbath

    Exodus 32:9-14 - did Moses change HIS mind or was YHWH testing him...as in what would Moses reply be...would he say yeah ok get rid of all of them and make a great nation out of me or would he show compassion and intercede for his fellow people?  After reading that prayer is a way for us to come into sync with YHWH's plan....I see it as the plan all along was for Moses to be given the words to cry out unto YHWH to spare the people.

    Exodus 32:19 - And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount. {(now he knows how YHWH felt)}

    Exodus 32:26-29 - MH Comment :   good cuz I was a bit confused bout that one

    Exodus 32:32-34ah now I see how Moses is a type of Christ. He was willing to also be blotted out, even though he didn't partake of what went on with the golden calf

    Exodus 33:7 - And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.

    Exodus 33:19 - And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.  {(if YHWH gave you the desire to know HIM, then to you HE is showing mercy)}

    Exodus 33:23 - And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen. {( backparts? )}

    Exodus 34:21-23  - 21Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.  22And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.  23Thrice in the year shall all your menchildren appear before the LORD God, the God of Israel.

    Exodus 34:28 - And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.  {(the first set YHWH actually wrote...how neat to have seen )}

  • No words

    I am watching  http://69.13.223.242/ASFROOT2/encoded/rood/rood5/rood5-300k.wmv

    interesting.  It is 2.5 hours long but so good.

    said in 1978 there was an earthquake that proved the boat figure on ararat mountain was the Noah's ark....I was born in 78 and in 2001, I had a boy whose name was to be Noah...too cool.

    Also Adam was told he would die in the day he ate of the tree's fruit...and no he didn't die within 24 hours...but a thousand of our years is like one of the Lord's years...and Adam nor anyone else has lived to be 1,000+ years old...interesting.

    Also he confirmed our calendars are messed up but we shouldn't worry the Lord knows exactly what the true year number is.....

    oh and thief in the night- is negative not for us, we Believers can be ready and in the light concerning what is about to happen.

    ok gotta go and finish listening...

  • 7 Biblical Truths book

    So the other day I posted:

    SiDeNoTe: I am reading a book called 7 Biblical Truths You won't hear in church -see sidebar- on page 62 it reads:
    God uses the law and any other means HE deems necessary to cause us to turn to HIM.  HE didn't give us the ten commandments because HE thought we could keep them; HE gave us the ten commandments because we thought we could keep them.  God wants us to surrender to HIM-and HE uses the law as a means to make that happen.

    The part about us thinking we could keep the law pertains to what I am learning in this Heart Ablaze study...remember they told Moses you hear from God and tell us what he says and we will do it.  Now that to me is a sense of humor....someone doesn't want to meet with me and hear my words straight from my mouth, instead they want only one or two people to meet with me and they will do whatever I say...ok let's have some fun with this...LOL...and of course a way to help us see how much we need HIM and should meet with HIM.

    This author goes on to say rules produce rebellion and the ten commandments are no exception.
    The more confined and bound we are to rules, the more we look for ways to break free.  It's clear God gave us the law to drive us to our knees--to the point of surrender. It's like HE wanted us to just throw up our hands and say uncle.
    God wants us to see our own inability to measure up and finally reach the point of surrender.  HE gave us HIS law to judge us and to entice us to sin at the same time.  Through this HE reveals our hopeless humanness.  (do you agree?)

    <------ End SiDeNoTe----->

    And I just want to say I finally finished the chapter and am going to post it here....

    I will try to be as brief as I can.  but would recommend reading the book.

    -Now all this seems to be a type of setup but why?  The answer can be found in the 3rd purpose of the law best described in Galatians 3:24 - Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

    Sure God uses the law to judge, rebuke, remind, and drive us to surrender- but it's all to lead us to Jesus.  The law teaches us of our own inadequacy....it exposes sin and gets us to ask for help.

    Romans 5:20-21 - 20Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:  21That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

    the more we sin and recognize our helplessness the more we recognize we need a Savior....God gave us HIS law to lead us into the open arms of Jesus.

    Escape from the law.

    However, it gets even better than that.  Once we're in Christ's arms, God wipes away the old law (including the 10 commandments) and we're not judged by it any longer it - at least not by God anyway.  Romans 6:14 - For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. (makes me think of Present Perfect) and Romans 10:4 - For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.  Christ is the finished line as far as the rat race of law is concerned.  You are set free.  The old law doesn't apply to you.  The 10 commandments have no further purpose for you.

    Now, keep in mind that you still live in an earthly society and law is still the rule of order, but as far as God is concerned, you've passed the test. The grade is already entered, and we're on to our next assignment. For that, God has given us a new law to follow.  But this time HE hasn't left anything to chance.  This new law isn't written on stone tablets like the 10 commandments.  It is written on our hearts.  This is the same new law that was prophesied by Jeremiah 31:31-33 - 31Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:  32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:  33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. and written of again by Paul in Romans 2:15 - Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) and Romans 3:27 - Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

    Paul calls this new law the law of faith.  The old law leads to death; the new law leads to life.  The Bible even refers to the old law as the "ministry of death" (2 Corinthians 3:7).  The old law is the law that can and will be broken. It was broken in the garden and has been every day since.  The new law, the one written in our hearts, can never be broken.  Jeremiah calls this new law "a new covenant"- a promise.  It's this new law that God had in mind when HE gave us the old law- "the ministry of death".  HE wanted us to surrender and turn to HIM.  Salvation can't be earned by keeping the law because it is impossible for us to do.  Jesus alone fulfilled the law perfectly and conquered teh consequences of breaking the law, which is death.  And God had this plan for Jesus in mind from the beginning.

    Jesus was part of God's plan all along.  Revelation 13:8 tells us that the Lamb was slain "from the foundation of the world".  Before the world was created, before Adam and Eve ever sinned, before the 10 commandments were given, before anyone knew right from wrong, God had planned the final chapter.  HE had it all planned before anything happened. (I personally find it cool that the end is talked about in the first book of the Bible and the beginning is talked about in the last book of the Bible)

    HE not only knew what would happen, but had it all figured out.  HE let sin enter the world and then HE gave HIS law.  HE draws us to HIS Son by revealing our need to be rescued.  Augustine once wrote, "God has given us commands that we cannot perform in order that we might know what to ask of HIM." As Believers, our only response is to confess the weakness of our flesh and rely on the strength given to us through Jesus.  This, then, is the purpose of the law. It was not given to be kept (of and in our own strength), but rather to set up HIS rescue mission.  God's purpose was always Jesus.

    This has really made me think of the Heart Ablaze 4 words quote...

    Exodus 19:4 - Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

    He stressed the whole reason they were saved from Egypt and us saved from the world was the last 4 words of that sentence.
